Meet Our Chiropractor
Dr. Grant Shelton, DC
Dr. Grant Shelton, DC is an Arlington, TX native and has been practicing as a Chiropractor for 5 years. His mission is to deliver a patient-centered chiropractic experience that cultivates wholeness and healing. Dr. Grant has a comprehensive educational background. He went to Arlington High School, then did his undergraduate at the University of Texas in Arlington where he received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Afterwards, he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas as well as obtaining two additional bachelor’s degrees in Anatomy, and Health & Wellness.
“I am a big believer in the ‘why is this happening to me?’ I do not find it sufficient to tell a patient simply what is wrong, but why this may have happened to begin with and what they can do to retake control of their health outcomes, empowering them to reach their own goals. I emphasize patient education to help guide people in their own unique journey in achieving their optimal health.
Chiropractic is an amazing tool in your toolbox of health, but it is just that, a tool, a piece of your health toolkit. Chiropractic works great to help people get out of pain, but it is best at being proactive rather than reactive in your care. That is why I strongly believe in routine chiropractic care. You would not wait to change your car’s engine oil only after it catches fire! Why would you wait until your body’s “check engine light” is flashing?
“In high school wrestling I injured my shoulder losing a lot of its mobility. I was told my sports career was essentially over. A friend at the time suggested I try her chiropractor. Within 3 visits, my shoulder had regained mobility and function, and I was able to return to wrestling. I knew then what I had to do in life.”
“I was going to become a chiropractor, so I could help others regain function and return to what matters to them.”

“Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace.”
